Method 3:
Oblique insertion is to plant the stem at an angle of 15°~45° in the planting hole or ditch. 1/3 of the stem is exposed to the surface soil or completely buried in the soil. The oblique insertion has fast seedling emergence and a high emergence rate, which can ensure full Seedlings and tubers usually stretch in one direction. This method is mostly used for ridge planting, which is convenient for mechanized harvesting, but has poor wind resistance.
