Do you know how to divide the growth cycle of rice? What are the periods of rice growth? The rice growth cycle is broadly divided into two stages: the nutritional growth stage and the reproductive growth stage.
1. Nutritional growth stage. It takes about 90 days from the germination of rice seeds to the nodulation stage of seedlings. This period is further divided into four periods.
(1) Seedling stage, which is from the germination of rice seeds to the transplanting and transplanting of rice seedlings, takes about 35 days in total.

(2) The transplanting period, which is the period from the start of transplanting to the start of planting, takes about 7 to 10 days.

(3) Tillering period is the period from the start of transplanting to the start of nodulation, which takes about 30 days.

(4) The modulation period is the period from the start of nodulation to the time before the conception of ears, which takes about 15 days.
2. Reproductive growth stage. The period from gestation to maturity is called the reproductive growth stage, which takes about 70 days and is divided into four periods.
(1) gestation period. It is from the beginning of gestation to the beginning of the spike, this period is about 15 days.
(2) Spike stage. From the beginning of the spike to the beginning of the shell to start flowering, it takes about 15 days.
(3) Flowering and pollination period. From the start of flowering to the start of seeds when the end of grouting, about 15 to 20 days.
(4) Grouting period. It takes about 20 days from the start of grain filling to the time of harvesting. In short, the boundaries of each growth and development stage of rice are only theoretically divided. In the specific planting process, due to various factors, the boundaries are not very obvious and are vague, but only roughly divided. The growth and development time is affected by temperature, water, fertilizer, soil, light, geographical location, variety, etc. It can be long or short, and there is no exact specific growth time.
